Player Spotlight
2026 Senior - Tristen Edwards
Playing soccer for Haddam-Killingworth High School has meant so much to me over the past four years. As a four-year varsity player and senior captain, I have grown not only as an athlete but also as a teammate and leader. Being captain of a young team this year has taught me the importance of leading by example, bringing teammates together, and supporting one another through both successes and challenges.
Winning the Shoreline Championship last year will always be one of my favorite memories, while falling short in the State Finals has only motivated us to work harder. Throughout my time within this program, I have learned the true meaning of "togetherness"—a value Coach Zach has always emphasized. More than the wins and losses, it's the friendships, memories, and lessons learned that will carry with me long after I've played my final game. Being part of HK High School Soccer has shaped who I am, and I'll always be grateful for the opportunity to represent my school alongside my teammates.
